New York City and Los Angeles based photographer Elizabeth Waterman is excited to announce that thirteen images from her Dark Angels series have been featured in the June 14 edition of the digital photographic arts publication L’Œil de la Photographie.
Since June of 2016, Waterman has been exploring and documenting the late-night world of strip clubs in The Bronx, Queens, and Los Angeles. The images are stark and lascivious, both deeply human and unsettlingly anonymous. You can almost smell the sweat and cigarette smoke.
Based in Paris, L’Œil de la Photographie (The Eye of Photography) is available in French, English, and Chinese, updated daily, and viewed in more than 100 countries.
